Chromecast is a device that plugs into TV's HDMI port, almost all popular streaming media mobile apps support Chromecast. Using smartphone as a remote control, guest can use Chromecast to access video content from Netflix, YouTube, AppleTV, Disney+, Spotify, Amazon Prime and other streaming services. It's not required to sign in to the services on the TV, the other advantage of Chromecast is that the video stream data does not pass through mobile device hence very minimal battery usage.
